when & how to send your wedding flowers for preservation
Your wedding day is finally here, the celebrations are over, and you are officially married! Now comes the important task of making sure your gorgeous wedding bouquet gets to your preservation artist safely so it can be transformed into a timeless keepsake.
Timing is everything when it comes to keeping your flowers looking fresh and vibrant. To help your flowers arrive in the best possible condition, here is a complete guide on when and how to send them.

Send Them ASAP
The golden rule of wedding flower preservation is simple: send your flowers as soon as possible after your wedding day.
Fresh flowers naturally begin to wilt and lose their vitality once they are cut, so the quicker they get to the studio, the better they will look in your final resin piece!

Navigating Weekend Weddings
Timing can get a little tricky if your wedding falls over a weekend or a holiday. Here is how to handle the logistics:
Friday Weddings: If you tied the knot on a Friday, you have two options. You can either keep your flowers in fresh water over the weekend and ship them on Monday, or send them out on the Saturday so they arrive safely on Monday.
Bank Holiday Weekends: If your wedding lands on a bank holiday weekend, always ship your flowers on the next working week day. This ensures they won't sit in a postal box for longer than needed.

Keep Them Hydrated Before Shipping
If you (or a designated family member or friend) are handling the shipping process, make sure your flowers stay hydrated in fresh, clean water right up until the moment they are packaged and sent. Happy, hydrated stems travel much better!

Ordering After Your Wedding? Please Contact Me First!
Decided to preserve your flowers after the big day has already passed?
Please contact me first before placing your order. Because preservation schedules fill up quickly, I cannot guarantee that I will have the immediate availability required to receive and dry fresh flowers on short notice.
Ā
What to Do If You're Ordering Days Later
If you are placing your preservation order several days (or a week) after your wedding, please dry your flowers first before sending them.
If you ship fresh flowers when they are nearly a week old, they are already too far gone and run a very high risk of bruising, rotting, or ruining entirely during transit. Dried flowers, on the other hand, travel safely and can still be beautifully arranged in a frame or resin piece!
